Pashmina Collection - A versatile sustainable design changed the concept for fashion jewellery
The Next Pashmina Collection marks Jianhui London’s first large-scale sustainable design—an iconic piece developed over a career spanning more than two decades.
Composed of tens of thousands of lightweight recycled wooden beads, each creation embodies both innovation and craftsmanship, transforming sustainable materials into a fluid, sculptural form.
The collection has been embraced by leading figures in fashion, including Agnès b. and Elio Fiorucci, and is held by renowned institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
Celebrated for its originality, it was described by Elio Fiorucci as “the most beautiful eco-friendly design,” and praised by Eduarda Abbondanza as “a perfect example of art and fashion accessories.” The collection was also cherished by style icon Iris Apfel, who owned it in multiple colours. In the acclaimed Grace and Frankie, the character Frankie famously wore the Pashmina Necklace throughout the series in a variety of colours and styles.
Lightweight, versatile, and endlessly adaptable, the Next Pashmina can be styled in multiple ways—an evolving expression of form and movement.
