As a symbol of their status, Chinese royalty wore pearls for thousands of years and traditionally viewed them as feminine. By using them in a new way, Jianhui‘s designs with pearls are edgy and urban. Worn as one strand, these necklaces are dainty, but worn as multiple strands, they feel more rugged.
